Position: WebObjects Application Developer

Office Location: Fairfax, Virginia

Description:  The candidates that are eventually hired for this position will provide consulting services to company clients in a fast paced environment and must have the flexibility to respond to tight deadlines. The candidate should be a self-starter with a minimum of a BS/BA, and documented in-depth WebObjects 5.0 or above experience, who is willing to represent Consulting, Services and Solutions Group, Inc. to our clients in professional business attire, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert for designing and implementing Web Application Architecture. A successful candidate will have worked in large corporate environments and previously delivered Web based solutions to customers on both Windows and Solaris platforms with Oracle and Microsoft SQL as the underlying database. Extensive experience with ReportMill 7.0 and above is a major plus.  Critical duties and activities include the following:

·          Provide relational database connectivity knowledge in a multi-tier environment;
 

·          Perform detailed business process analysis with internal staff and external clients to develop the object model framework for the company’s COTS/ASP applications;
 

·          Facilitate System Requirements Definition communicating with all levels of the organization including end-users, stakeholders and management levels.
 

·          Assist and participate in programming object libraries for the flagship SOLAR software, RegiStudent software and other projects;
 

·          Program and test the SOLAR and RegiStudent WebObjects applications, Web-based screens, queries, and reports.  Ability and experience documenting all code, use cases, help documentation;
 

·          Assist in defining, designing, and implementing the required technical architecture to support electronic applications;
 

·          Knowledge of performing the test procedures on different platforms, browsers and screen resolutions;
 

·          Develop related entity relationship diagrams;
 

·          Strong interpersonal and project management skills;
 

·         Ability to assimilate and simplify complicated issues;
 

·          Facilitate a team environment;
 

·           Actively perform knowledge transfer to employees;
 

·          Mentor team members;

Provide on-going maintenance and support for SOLAR, RegiStudent and other applications with a WebObjects front-end.

Education Required:  BS/BA and documented experience with WebObjects 5.0 and above, and a reporting tool such as ReportMill 7.0 or above.
