Position: Corporate Financial Analyst

Office Location: Fairfax, Virginia

Description: Responsible for maintaining financial reporting systems. Responsibilities include preparation of financial reports for organization, investigate and analyze profit and loss variances, balance sheet control issues and operations expenses. Will prepare balance sheet validation schedules, monthly operating forecasts, month-end updates, annual and strategic plans. Will provide direction and assistance to company-wide organization in developing data for input into the preparation of monthly operating forecasts, month-end updates, annual and strategic plans. Produce additional financial reports as required. Will provide direct input and support to Senior Executive and corporate-wide strategic planning and execution. This position requires a team member that has the ability and capacity to assume expanded responsibilities, a team member that is a strategic thinker, highly organized, detail oriented and dependable. You must have the ability and capacity to work with little or no supervision in a results oriented environment.

Duties Include: Responsibility for the development and/or execution of all cost controls, payables, receivables, rate cards, vendor management, sales audits, cost of sales, monitoring of fiscal targets and reimbursements. Other strategic and tactical duties and responsibilities as required.

Desired Skills: Project management, information technology background

Education Required: Bachelors Business Accounting (or Finance) . MBA a plus.

Experience Required: Requirements include 3-10 years related experience in business analysis, with strong product accounting experience with a IT or software development organization. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communications skills and have worked with capital expenditures, marketing P&L forecasts, strategic planning, profit planning, etc. Variance analysis and forecasting are also a plus. Require high proficiency in MS Excel, Access 2000 and Word 2000.
